The Opening of Jakarta Fashion Week 2010

Amidst the natural disasters that several parts of the country is experiencing, The Jakarta Fashion Week 2010 has officially started. A moment of silence preceded the programs of the night followed by an opening speech by the event organizer and the governor of Jakarta, Mr Fauzi Bowo. Mr Bowo then invited everyone to donate to the victims of the natural disasters, with himself donating Rp.50 million.

This Year's Jakarta Fashion Week Opening Show, that was held in Jakarta, Indonesia, on November 6, 2010, paid tribute to the traditional Indonesian female fashion attire, the Kebaya.
